Wieder eine Baustelle weniger. Nachdem mir der neue Computer mit Windows 7 immer abgestürtzt ist und dann am Ende keinen Mux mehr gemacht hat, habe ich mich entschlossen auf Lunix umzustellen. Da gibt es kostenlos im Netz eine Software- Zusammenstellung NAVIGATRIX mit allen zur Navigation notwendigen Programmen. Die habe ich auf den neuen Bordcomputer installiert. Funktioniert einwandfrei und ist auch noch schneller. Nachdem ich Gestern den Batteriekontroller eingebaut habe, war heute die Verdrahtung angesagt. Mal wieder ein Kabel von der Schalttafel runter in den Motorraum und dann nach Backbord auf die Batteriebank verlegen. Alles klappte hervorragend. Laut Bedienungsanleitung muss die Batteriebank entladen werden, damit der Computer die Daten erfassen kann. Nichts leichter dachte ich, alle Verbraucher an, die Kühlgeräte auf volle Leistung gestellt. Das reichte bei weitem nicht, da hätte ich ja 2 Tage mindestens warten müssen. Der Inverter von 12 Volt auf 220 Volt war die Lösung, schnell an die Batterie angeschlossen und den Staubsauger auf volle Pulle gestellt. Jertzt ging aber der Bär los und die Ampere purzellten nur so. Bei 11,6 Volt habe ich den Vorgang abgebrochen und die Batterieladung angestellt. Jetzt um 00:00 sind die Batterien wieder voll. Das war es im wesentlichen für heute.

Again one problem solved. The new computer had lots of problems with windows 7. Always locked up and at the end a terrible crash. Completely blocked. After that I have decided to install LUNIX on the navigation computer. There is a software package free of charge in the net, Navigatrix with all you may need for navigation. This I have installed today and it is functioning perfectly and the PC is even faster. After installation of the battery controller yesterday the connecting was on the agenda today. Again running a cable from the switch box through the engine room to the battery bank. All was going smooths. According to the user manual the batteries have to be fully discharged one time to enable the controller to reset the data. Should be easy I thought, but after switching all iceboxes on all light, the process was still very slow. The solution was the inverter 12 Volt to 220 Volt, with this i turn the vacuum cleaner on to run for a while. Now you could see the Ampere’s counting. After the batteries have reached 11,6 Volt I stopped the process and turned on the charger. Now at 00:00 the batteries are fully charged. This was the story from today
