Der Sonntag mit Überraschungen / The Sunday with surprises

Am Sonntag hatte ich mir eigentlich vorgenommen die Installation des Wassermachers fertig zu stellen. Am Samstag habe ich dafür das noch notwendige Material beschafft. Als zweites war die Verlegung einer neuen Leitung von der Toilette in den Scharzwassertank geplant. Es sollte anders kommen. Ich freute mich schon auf die sonntägliche Funkrunde um 08:30 und stellte mit Entsetzen fest, dass sich die Antenne der Funkanlage nicht mehr anpassen ließ. Da stand ich erst einmal vor einem dicken Problem. Also erst mal Frühstücken, dann schauen wir mal was sein kann. Nach dem Frühstück habe ich mir erst mal die Leitung der Toilette vorgenommen, damit das Bad wieder funktionsfähig war. Danach tiefer in die Funkmaterie eingestiegen, Strom kam am Antennentuner an, aber es fand keine Anpassung der Antenne statt. Der Funk-Schapp sollte ja sowieso neu verdrahtet werden, dann ziehen wir das einmal vor, kann ja nicht so schlimm sein. Was ein Irrtum, wie sich bald rausstellte. Nachdem ich das Funkgerät ausgebaut, alle Anschlüsse überprüft hatte, machte ich mich daran die Kabel zu erneuern. Da stellte plötzlich der Tiefkühler seinen Dienst ein, was war das nun schon wieder. Ich hatte schon Angst mit meiner Funkerei die elektronische Steuerung hochgejagt zu haben. Das wäre dann sehr misslich gewesen, da einiges im Tiefkühler eingefroren war. Nach einiger Sucherei  stellte ich fest, dass dem Kühlaggregat die Masse fehlte. Da hatte ich mir doch bei der erst Installation 2004 einen Fehler eingebaut, der sich erst jetzt zeigte. Hatte ich mich doch immer schon gewundert, dass sich der Tiefkühler, das Funkgerät mit dem Computer nicht gut vertragen haben und sich gelegentlich gegenseitig abschalteten. Ich musste vor dem Funken auch immer den Tiefkühler ausschalten. Jetzt weiß ich auch warum, wenn doch die Masse des Tiefkühlers durch die Funkbude geschleift war.  Schnell eine provisorische Leitung verlegt, damit der Tiefkühler nicht auftaut. Siehe da, er läuft wieder normal, uff!!!!! Nächster Schritt war dann eine neue Masse von der Batterie auf Backbord nach Steuerbord zu ziehen. Hört sich einfach an, ein 25mm² Kabel nur 2 Meter zu verlegen. Jetzt kommt es aber, diese Kiste ist vollgepackt mit Material das auf dem Deck geparkt werden muss. So sieht das Deck danach aus.

Dann das Kabel verlegt, einen neuen Massepunkt Steuerbords gesetzt, dicke Kabel in die Funkbude verlegt und neue Anschlüsse für Masse und Strom eingebaut.

So ging der Sonntag vorbei und Montagmorgen weiter mit der Arbeit. Es hat noch den ganzen Tag gedauert bis es so aussah wie auf dem Bild. Gestrichen sollte es noch werden, dass lasse ich für Elke übrig, die wird sich freuen als alte Pinsselschwenkerin. Fast fertig, ein paar Korrekturen noch, dann ist diese Baustelle erledigt. Wundersamer weise vertragen sich jetzt Computer, Pactor und Funkgerät mit dem Tiefkühler und schalten sich nicht mehr gegenseitig aus.   

Sunday I had scheduled to finish the installation of the water maker. All remaining material I have pur chased on Saturday. Second I wanted to finish the bad room on the aft cabin. There had to be a new house installed from the toilet to the waste water tank. It can different. Just at the time for the morning round on the radio at 08:30 I discovered that the antenna tuner was not working, the antenna could not been adjusted to the frequency.  There was a big problem encountered which changed my plan for Sunday completely. First breakfast, after that we shall see what to do. I stick to my second activity and did the house installation in the aft cabin toilet in order to make it functional. Now was the time to have a deeper look in to the antenna tuner problem.  Current12 Volt DC arrived at the tuner, but no reaction for tuning the antenna. So I started to check all the connection on the radio, but could not discover any problem. ´Since the rewiring of the radio compartment was on my schedule any way, what matters let me start to do it now. This will not be a big deal I thought, what a mistake we will see alter. I started to take the old cable out of the radio compartment and suddenly the freezer stopped working and the temperature was rising.  What was this now? I was scared that I have spoiled the electronic at the compressor with all the radio testing. After checking all cables the compressor had no ground cable. I have made a mistake in the time of installation of the freezer and carried the ground through the radio compartment. Now I know why the freezer and the computer could not work together. Sometimes thy cut of each other and stopped working during use. Fast I installed a temporary connection to the freezer in order to keep the temperature to avoid spoiling the goods in the freezer. The freezer has started work normally, what a relief. Next step was to bring a new ground from portside to stareboard, no problem, its only 2 meter 25mm² cable across the engine room. The problem is only to have access to run the cable. The box on portside is full of material and this has to be placed on deck, a mess again. After empty the box, soon the cable was I n and a new ground point was created. Cable installed in the radio compartment and new points for the ground and power installed. Above you can see some picture of the result. Nearly finish needs some fine tuning and the painting job I will leave for Elke to complete.
