Die Chefin ist an Bord / the boss lady is on board

Elke hat das Kommando übernommen. Jetzt herrschen andere Prioritäten. Aber das gute die Küche funktioniert wieder. Da kommt wieder anständiges Essen auf die Back. Aus diesem Grund habe ich mich heute um die endlose Geschichte der Topfhalter für unseren Kocher gekümmert. Das ist Elke schon lange ein Ärgernis. Die Konstrukteure der mitgelieferten Topfhalter waren sicher keine Segler und wenn ja, dann nicht sehr viel in der Kombüse  beschäftigt. Ich konnte einen Topfhalter-set von einem anderen Hersteller soweit modifizieren, dass die Konstruktion Elke ihre Zustimmung bekamen und Ihren Bedürfnissen voll gerecht wird. UFF!!!!. geschafft, damit nerved Elke mich schon einige Zeit. Hier ein paar Bilder. 

Now Elke has taken the command in the boat. Now other priorities are on target. The good news are that the kitchen is now back to quality. Good food is back on the table. For that reason I have done a modification to the pot holder on the stove. The constructor of the originals system supplied with the cooker has not been a sailor or he was not in charge of the food production on board. Elke hated the system from the beginning on, so after all I have to do something now. With some pot holder from another brand, I could make modifications which found the approval of Elke. Hurray the cook is satisfied. See the picture:

Noch einmal / once more

Unsere große Fockschotwinde hat eine kleine Schwester bekommen. Damit ist das Reffen der Fock bei starkem Wind jetzt viel einfacher und kann auch von Elke bewerkstelligt werden. 

The big winch for the foresail has got a new sister for the reefing of the foresail. Now the reefing for the foresail is more easy on haevy wind. Now Elke can do it alone. 

Wir haben ja gestern schon die neue Solarplatte am Heck über den Davids für das Beiboot gebaut. Heute konnten wir sehen was die Anlage jetzt mit 340 Watt Leistung in die Batterien schaufelt. es waren über den Tag 111,4 AH. Eine beachtliche Leistung. Als max. Leistung waren es 19,8 Ampere.Da haben wir das Stromproblem wohl im Griff. 

Yesterday we already installed the new solar plate with 140 Watts of peak power above the Davids to hold our dingy. Today we could watch the amount of Ampere was flowing to the batteries. A total of 111,4 AH was supplied to the batteries. In the peak there was 19,8 Ampere delivered to the batteries. I think now we have our energy problem solved.
