Insel Espalmador und Conejera / Island of Espalmador and Conejera

From Puerto Roig we sailed only a few miles to the island of Espalmador on the south tip of Ibiza. The island is a natural resort and a famous anchorage. There are moorings for tiding the boat free of charge. There are guards to ensure that sailors are not staying to long there to block the moorings for other visitors. We could stay two nights on the mooring. We work around on the island and there is a salt lake in the center of the island. There is a saying that the salt mud will heal wounds and other sort of skin issues. Why not, I have no proof.

on anchor we could watch the cormorans fishing. This one driet his wings after taking bath. After that he took off with lots of spray behind him.

Also volle Kanne.

Friday morning after brakefast we set sail to sail back to San Antonio. The wind was in favor for us and we could set all sails including the Gennacker foresail. We drop anchor in the beight of San Antonio before the island of Conejera / Rabbit Island. Here we had a quit night.
