Wir sind ein paar Meilen gesegelt / we have sailed a few miles

Jetzt habe ich einige Tage nichts mehr berichtet. Wir sind von San Miguel am Freitag in die Bucht von San Antonio gesegelt. Dort haben wir in der Cala Torrent den Anker geworfen. Unsere Freunde Christina und Richard haben dort auch geankert nach der Überfahrt von Torrevieja. Hatten eine sehr ruhige Nacht, es war ungewöhnlich heiß, 37 Grad C in der Kabine. Der Wind aus der Sahara hat bis zu uns geweht. Am Samstag sind wir dann in den Hafen von San Antonio in dem wir bis zum Montag bleiben wollen. Samstag Nacht fing es an zu blasen und das auch noch direkt in die Bucht von San Antonio. Ankerwache war angesagt. Es kam mächtig Schwall in den Hafen. So sind wir den Sonntag an Bord geblieben. Einmal mussten wir neu ankern, da unser Anker nicht gehalten hat. Sonntag Abend war der Spuk dann vorbei und wir konnten wieder ruhig schlafen. Am Montag einkaufen und dann ab nach Puierto Roig, einen kleinen Hafen im Südwesten der Insel. Hier machten wir Station und liegen immer noch. Am Freitag wollen wir wieder nach San Antonio zurück. Dort treffen wir wieder Christina und Richard. Nächste Woche kommt Oliver an Bord, wir freuen uns schon darauf.

A few days I have not posted any news. On Friday after we left San Miguel  we returned in the bay of San Miguel. There we dropped our anchor and meet our friends Christina and Richard which just arrived from the mainland of Spain.We had o quiet night on Anchor there. It was extremely hot during the day, 37 degree C in the cabin. The hot wind from the Sahara cam up to the island. On Saturday we went back to the port of San Antonio. During the night the wind picked up strong direct in the bay of San Antonio. We have to stay on anchor watch most of the night. So Sunday we stayed on board because the wind was not easing down. Once we had to anchor new because the anchor slipped. In the evening the wind eased down and we could sleep again quietly during the night. Monday we mad a trip to the shore to bay some provisions for the following week. After that we lift the anchor and sailed to Puerto Roig in the south west of the island. A lovely small port and with the present wing direction a quiet place. We will stay here until the weekend and then sail back to San Antonio. On Wednesday Oliver will join as on board of La Paloma
